List Of Home Based Business Scams By LydiaParrott Have you been searching on the internet trying to figure out which offers are scams and which ones are not? Unfortunately, there are many internet crooks on the web. Here is a list of scams to look out for.
First, there is no getting rich quick on the internet, it all takes time and work. If anyone tells you that you can make a million dollars working one hour per day don’t believe them. They probably worked for three years before they got to that point. Yes, after putting in the beginning hours, eventually you won’t have to work as many hours per day if you work it right. There is always a learning curve that takes time when you first get started. It also takes time to set up all of your advertising in order for your keywords to get to the top of google.
Second, beware of emails being sent to you. Don’t open them unless you know who they are from and never give away your personal information unless you know it is a legitimate company.
Third, find out about the company. How long have they been in business? Compare what they have to offer with other companies. You want a company that has been in business for at least two years. Sometimes if they have been in business for many years such as 7 or more, and have a product to sell, the internet is saturated with too many people selling the same thing. They will become your competition.
Fourth, see if someone answers the phone when you call them. A lot of times they guarantee you a 24 hour online staff and you find out when you need someone to talk to

Fifth, don’t think just because they are more expensive then the last company that they have more to offer. Sometimes the more expensive a company is means nothing. It’s just one more con job, but more out of your pocket.
Sixth, are there many testimonies? Are the testimonies just writings or are there some live testimonies, or at least pictures with the people talking. Sometimes they will leave an email address or web address where you can reach them.
Seventh, watch out for lower commissions. If they tell you the commission is between $5.00 to $50.00 and you can get rich, think twice. You will have to sell a massive amount of items in order to make a lot of money. It takes the same amount of work for a $1000.00 commission as a $5.00 commission. Which one would you rather have?
I hope this list of scams helped you to know what to avoid online. I believe there are many more scams out there then the real thing, so take your time when checking them out.
